A citizen with leadership is a reason to a progress of a city upon. Implementation of ROTC gives more willingness to people particular to youth to be confident to face life’s challenges. As we, children of 21st Century can contribute much efforts and accomplishment through this additional year level.
Senior High School is the additional 2 years in intering secondary level that updates about the K-12 implementation. ROTC or Reserve Officers’ Training Corp, programs prepare students careers in the military and help them develop leadership skills. It requires more opportunities to all young people to be more effective in this society and continues as well educated citizens. This improves the capability of all to stand on their own. This strengthen strong personal traits such as self- discipline, love of their country, and ability to manage their selves, not poverty that minimize chances to a slot of success. For me, in implementing this program there are benefits and some disadvantages. Students will have a knowledge about military and will enhance their capabilties prior to this field, excitement in joining and also will motivate the students to completely go to school because of this program. These programs aim to deliver a higher knowledge and foster leadership, technical and social skills to the young people nowadays also to the upcoming ones. However, there are also an error if ever the students will take advantage of this and their academic performance will possibly affected because of such hard trainings that will make the students to get tired. Do not take opportunities forgranted even ROTC has been implemented and added 2 years of study. We just need to have a high-standard and quality education which follows to this program.
